Several people involved in road rage were taken into custody after they drove to the Houston police headquarters in downtown early Tuesday morning.

At least five people in three separate cars were involved in the incident, which appeared to have started at a Midtown bar, according to Houston Police Department Lt. Larry Crowson. At some point, the three cars were northbound on Travis and started shooting at each other, although no one was injured, Crowson said.

The cars eventually stopped at the HPD’s downtown headquarters at 1200 Travis. Officers at the building rushed to take the drivers and two others into custody, Crowson said.

Police recovered at least one gun. It is unclear if any of those who were detained will be charged.
