PS4 free games surprise: Another PS Plus bonus revealed after shock line-up change | Gaming | Entertainment 1151756

PS4 fans have been delivered some surprise free games News, with a PS Plus bonus for PlayStation Plus members announced.

The PS Plus July 2019 selection of free PS4 games are available to download now for PS Plus members.

Originally the PS Plus July 2019 selection of free PS4 games was headlined by Horizon Chase Turbo and PES 2019.

But on the day that the PS Plus July 2019 free PS4 games were meant to go live a surprise line-up change was announced by Sony.

Instead of PES 2019 PS Plus members found the Konami footie sim had been replaced with Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition.

In a post online the PS Plus team explained: “We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July.

“This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain (Beyond Two Souls), to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”

In the aftermath of this shock change Konami claimed that the decision to pull PES 2019 from the PS Plus line-up was Sony’s.

Speaking to Eurogamer, a Konami rep said: “This decision was made by SIE and so please make an inquiry to SIE”.

While Sony added the decision had been made “as a company”.

Despite this surprise line-up change, Konami is offering PS Plus members an extra bonus for July.

In the PS Store Konami is offering a July PS Plus member bonus which can be claimed in the standard version of PES 2019 and PES 2019 Lite.
