Huawei P30 Pro is one of the most anticipated Android flagships of the year.
That is because its predecessor, the Huawei P20 Pro, was one of the best phones of 2018 thanks to its array of compelling features.
Huawei P30 Pro has been rumoured to arrive with four cameras on its rear, an all-screen design with a minimal notch and turbocharged internals.
In fact, alleged press images for the hardware that recently surfaced courtesy of WinFuture appeared to add further credence to such claims.
The supposed P30 Pro was displayed in what appeared to be a signature Huawei Twilight finish that oozed gradients of purple and blue.
Moreover, the front of the phone was shown with an all-screen design that had a small notch at its top.
The rear of the handset was displayed with four cameras on its rear, as had been suggested prior.
Three of the camera lenses were shown in one module while the fourth, much smaller sensor, was positioned under the phone’s flash.
Huawei P30 Pro has been heavily rumoured to offer a 10-times optical zoom, a function that would present Android fans with a noticeable camera upgrade over the P20 Pro.
Huawei’s VP of Global Product Marketing, Clement Wong, has already confirmed the product will employ a periscope-style system in order to achieve a greater zoom.
However, Wong did not disclose the level of zoom the P30 Pro will offer.
The P30 Pro is expected to be powered by the same Kirin 980 processor that debuted in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro last year.
And a new leak appears to have detailed the amount of RAM and internal storage the new flagship will bring to the table.
5GMobilePhone recently claimed the P30 Pro has passed National Communications Commission (NCC) certification in Taiwan and posted images from the listing.
The document suggested Huawei’s newest device will come with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of memory.
If true, this would be similar to the specifications offered by its predecessor in this regard.
In the UK the P20 Pro is only available in a single model that has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
However, in other territories, such as China, a secondary variant is sold that has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Unfortunately, the NCC documents did not provide any further insights about the specifications the P30 Pro will bring to the table.
However, Android fans will not have to wait long before the flagship is unveiled in full.
Huawei will take to the stage in Paris on March 26.
