Sky is kicking off the new year by offering a big saving to those looking to pick up their entertainment and movies packages.

The firm’s Now TV streaming service is right now offering a great deal which cuts customer’s bills by more than half.

Now TV is offering savings to those looking to pick up its entertainment and cinema passes either separately or together.

You can save 40 per cent on a three months Now TV entertainment pass, which is now just £14.47.

This will give you access to over 250 box sets on demand as well as streaming to channels like Sky One, Sky Atlantic and FOX.

While Now TV is also offering an over 30 per cent saving on three months of the Sky Cinema pass, with the pass priced at £20.68 in the deal.

This will give you access to more than 1,000 movies to watch on demand as well as streaming of the Sky Cinema channels.

But the biggest saving is for those who purchase six months access to the entertainment and cinema passes.

The deal is priced at £50.94, which is more than half the price of the regular cost of the two Now TV passes.

It’s important to note the deals listed are only available to new Now TV customers.

If you sign up for the deal you will need to pay a one off payment.

After the pre-paid period ends you will be charged £7.99 a month for the entertainment pass or £9.99 for Sky Cinema unless you cancel.

You can stop the automatic renewal at any time.

In other News, Express.co.uk recently revealed that Sky customers could have a very exciting year ahead.

The satellite TV firm looks set to launch a swathe of new features over the next 12 months with changes to its popular Sky Q service and improved broadband all in the pipeline.

Last year saw the launch of Netflix and Spotify on the Sky’s premium TV platform but customers can expect even bigger upgrades arriving in their living rooms.

And this year Sky customers could see the launch of a new service that doesn’t require a satellite dish.
