Outlook is one of the world’s most popular email platform, second only to the mighty Gmail. More than 400million users continue to use Hotmail and its new incarnation Outlook. Although Outlook is a significant improvement to Hotmail, developer Microsoft allows users to continue emailing via the old domain.

How to print Outlook emails:

Start by selecting the email you wish to print and select More Options in the upper-right corner of the page and choose Print.

Doing so may trigger a prompt to set up a printer.

A new window will open with a preview of your email on the right along with several print options.

Users have the option to select several settings based on your printer’s capabilities, including which printer of several you with to use and the number of copies desired.

Next click Print in order to push your email to the printer.

You may need to move the Print window if you cannot see a Print button because the Print and Cancel buttons may be hidden by the taskbar.

Then move your mouse over the title bar of the Print window and click and drag the window up until the Print button is visible.

Microsoft bought Hotmail in 1996 and its name is a riff on HTML, standing for HyperText Markup Language.

The final iteration of Hotmail was released in 2011 and the platform was replaced by Outlook.com in 2013.

Hotmail users have the ability to retain their Hotmail email addresses and to use them with Outlook.

New users can still opt to have a Hotmail.com domain via the Outlook.com sign-up process.
