Aston Villa have made six changes to the starting line-up for today’s clash with Swansea in the FA Cup.

CONFIRMED TEAM:

(4-3-3) Kalinic, Hutton, Elphick, Bree, Taylor, Whelan, McGinn, O’Hare, El Ghazi, Hogan Adomah. Subs: Steer, Revan, Elmohamady, Bjarnason, Lansbury, Kodjia, Davis.

Breaking transfer news

Tammy Abraham is not involved today due to the arrangements with parent club Chelsea.

And it looks like he has played his last game for Villa, anyway.

Villa are on the verge of losing him to Wolves .

The 21-year-old is close to joining the Premier League side on loan for the rest of the season as Chelsea prepare to activate the recall clause and move him on once again.

It’s understood that Wolves have no option to make the move permanent in the summer.

BirminghamLive first reported last week that Wolves were in for Abraham and they have now made significant progress.

It will come as a huge blow to Villa as Dean Smith had called on the 16-goal top scorer to stay until the end of the season and help fire Villa back to the Premier League.
