The Irish fighter was sensational in her maiden performance at the famous New York arena.
She started off quickly, using her superior hand speed to her advantage while dominating the fight from the centre of the ring.
Having spent the second half of the fight looking for the stoppage, she was unable to get the unbeaten challenger on the canvas.
Speaking afterwards, the famously-shy fighter had some choice words for the rest of the lightweight division.
She has made no secret of her intention to take on WBO champion Rose Volante, and WBC champion Delfine Persoon.
Taylor has also been linked with fights against Amanda Serrano and Cecilia Braekhus, who is the undisputed welterweight champion.
And the Irish girl did not mince her words about fighting anyone who wants it.
“I want the four of them next year,” she told Sky Sports.
“That would be fantastic.
“Absolutely [one after the other].”
Taylor was complimentary towards Wahlstrom after the fight, and admitted that she felt honoured to have fought at the legendary venue for the first time.
“It was brilliant,” she said.
“That was brilliant being in there.
“An absolute privilege to be boxing here at Madison Square Garden.
“I thought it was a good performance against an undefeated fighter.
“She came here to win, she had a great amateur career, so I knew it was going to be tough, but I thought I boxed very well tonight.”
