Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash which shut a Gwynedd road.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the A4212 between Frongoch and Arenig, near Bala just after 4.40pm.
One person had to be cut free from the wreckage by fire crews following the one-vehicle collision.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision on the A4212 near Bala at 4.43pm. We sent two crews to the scene as there were reports of a person trapped. We extricated one person from the vehicle using specialist cutting equipment. There were also two other casualties and all three were taken to hospital.”
The condition of those injured has not been confirmed by the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area by North Wales Police and asked to seek alternative routes.
The road was re-opened an hour after the incident at around 5.40pm.
