Aston Villa fans created a new chant during the 3-0 win away at Derby County on Saturday – and it’s brilliant.
Villa’s stay in the second tier of English football might be lasting a little longer than planned but they were once the European Champions and their 1982 success was the inspiration behind their latest chant.

‘What is this nonsense?’ – Aston Villa fans have their say on Derby destruction
“Every week we follow, the boys in claret and blue,
we conquered all of Europe, in 1982!
The Villa boys from Aston, we travel near and far,
You will hear us singing, from the stands of Villa Park!
Allez, Allez, Allez!”
The video was shared on Aston Villa fan page The Religion and it’s safe to say it went down well.
Josh Roberts: “Seriously need to get this going at Villa Park”
Stephen Shenton: “They will be singing that at school on Monday. UTV”
Ian Michael South: “Love it!”
Kieran Stan Keaney: Would have loved to have been there.”
