It was due to be on the North Stand but the club have changed their minds following discussions with fans
Tottenham Hotspur’s iconic Golden Cockerel will be placed on top of the South Stand of their new stadium, the club has announced.
Original designs had the new Cockerel facing North, which would have overlooked the stadium bowl.
The decision was reportedly taken following discussions amongst fans on the subject.
It’s not clear when Spurs will play their first match at their new ground, however, it will not happen before the end of 2018.
