Welsh Alliance League

Bodedern Athletic moved up to second in Welsh Alliance Division One with a 7-1 drubbing of Llanrwst United.

Aidan Clarke (3), Dafydd Jones (2), Richard Williams and Shaun Jenkins shared Boded’s goals.

Aidan Roxburgh and Dan Sim netted for Greenfield in their 2-1 win over Barmouth, while Ben Cawley and Darren Cassidy secured Prestatyn Sports a 2-1 result at Llandudno Junction.

Craig Whelan, Dylan Williams, Iwan Morris and Andy Barker guided Mynydd Llandegai to a 4-1 beating of Llanberis, and it finished 2-2 between Penrhyndeudraeth and Llanrug. Alun Hughes and Meilir Williams were Penrhyn’s marksmen, Eifion Williams and Aaron Hughes for the visitors.

Blaenau Amateurs triumphed 4-2 at Aberffraw in the Mawddach Challenge Cup, Tom Hughes (2), Sion Roberts and Bryn Humphreys with the away haul.

In Division Two, Glan Conwy versus Llannerchymedd ended 2-2.

Shaheen Ahmed and Conor Davies netted for Glan, Mark Jones and Lewis Connor (pen) responding, Dave O’Neill goal sealed Meliden a 1-0 verdict at Mochdre Sports and Benn Lundstram’s net-buster did the same for Penmaenmawr at Pentraeth.

Nyal Hughes, Anthony Colquitt and Jordan Worthington earned Kinmel Bay a 3-0 decision against Gaerwen, and Llannefydd beat Amlwch Town 4-2, Tomos Jones (2), Jack Gronow and Andy Jones for the hosts, Martin Byast and Rhodri Hughes replying.

NWCFA Junior Cup

Phemmy Allison was a four-goal hero in Rhos United’s 6-2 away caning of Waunfawr in the NWCFA Junior Cup.

Joel Massam (2), Ryan Watson and Jake Parkes ensured Old Colwyn also progressed with a 4-2 elimination of Cerrigydrudion.

It was close at Penrhyn Bay Dragons, but Sammy Lee Williams’ double helped visitors Arriva Bangor edge it 4-3.

Welsh National League

Chirk AAA fought back from 2-0 down to beat Lex XI 3-2 in the Premier Division, Joshua Phillips, Louie Middlehurst and Sammy Nash with the vital goals.

Anglesey League

Birthday boy Mike Kelly netted a hat-trick as Holyhead Hotspur Reserves came from behind to earn a 3-3 draw at CPD Y Fali in the Anglesey League.

Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League

Premier Division leaders Llansannan overcame the challenge of Bro Cernyw 3-1, Leon Gierke (2) and Harri Owen sharing the goals.

Gwynedd League

Top side Menai Bridge Tigers prevailed 4-2 at Talysarn Celts, Darren Gowans, Dafydd Healy, Kelvin Frazer and Dean Redmond all on target.

Glantraeth enjoyed a fine 3-1 win at Nefyn United, Dion Williams, Andy Clarke and an own goal securing the points.

North East Wales League

In the Goals Premier Cup, Acton triumphed 9-5 in a goal-fest at Brymbo Victoria. Matt Sutherland hit four for the winning side, Paul Messham replying with a treble.
