A child and a man have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A494.
Police and paramedics were called to the westbound carriageway just before the Queensferry and Sandycroft turn-off just after 6.50pm.
Officers said the boy was a pedestrian while the injured man had been riding a motorbike.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision at 6.52pm and we sent two ambulances to the scene. A male child and a 31-year-old motorcyclist were taken to the Countness of Chester Hospital with various injuries.”
The extent of their injuries are not known at this stage.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A roads policing unit spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a collision earlier today on A494 W’bound prior to the Q’ferry exit. If you were on this road just before 7PM and witnessed the collision between a motorcycle and young pedestrian, please contact us on 101 quoting event reference W150169”
