The gesture which prompted Khabib Nurmagomedov to scale the octagon this weekend has been revealed.
Khabib was seen incensed as he leaped over the cage on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
The victorious MMA fighter would go on to spark a brawl at UFC 229.
The melee ensued after Khabib was victorious in defeating Conor McGregor.
Dillon Danis was reportedly goading the Russian, during and after the fight.
“Dillon (Danis) was absolutely insulting Khabib, saying something to him and provoking him and then Khabib just jumped over the cage and attacked him,” Joe Rogan said.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought Khabib was just going to jump to the top of the cage and say ‘F*** you’.”
Footage has also emerged on social media showing Danis making gestures towards McGregor’s opponent to come out of the cage and fight him.
The fall-out from the controversial fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov has continued, with the Russian man’s cousin branding McGregor an “Irish b****” after they came to blows.
There were ugly scenes, report the Mirror , following Nurmagomedov’s win in Las Vegas, with the fighter leaving the octagon and heading straight for McGregor’s team in the crowd.
He attacked McGregor’s stablemate Dillion Dannis and a melee ensued, with security scrambled to help deal with the chaos.
Abubakar Nurmagomedov and McGregor punched each other as the Irishman was recovering from his fourth-round tap-out, with the pair exchanging blows on top of the fencing.
Abubakar Nurmagomedov was then dragged away, as McGregor was then sucker punched by Nurmagomedov’s stablemates Zubaira Tukhugov and Islam Makhachev.
The Russian fighter’s cousin showed off his wounds on YouTube.
“In short, I climbed onto the cage. This Irish b**ch hit me,” he said.
“But I didn’t hold back either. Bam, boom! – I gave [him] two.”
As lightweight champion Nurmagomedov took control of the fight in the second round, he was heard to utter just three words to The Notorious after climbing on top of him.
The Russian floored the Irishman with a massive right hand before pinning him to the canvas and unleashing a succession of big punches to the head and body.
With just inches separating their faces, Nurmagomedov leaned in close and was heard to say, “Let’s talk now,” delivering the chilling message, reports the Mirror.
UFC president Dana White confirmed earlier there were three arrests but later said the trio were then released after McGregor refused to press charges.
Nurmagomedov took one question at his press conference, and he apologised to the Nevada State Athletic Commission and Las Vegas.
He is expected to be stripped of his fight bonus of $2m and is likely to face further sanctions.
