AWARD

Who were the best performers on the second weekend of the season?

The Premier League is now fully in swing with the second weekend in the books, while Liverpool and Crystal Palace play on Monday night.

It was a fun set of nine matches which saw Manchester City show they’re in no mood to mess around, beating Huddersfield 6-1.

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero and Bournemouth defender Steve Cook were decisive for their teams this weekend.

Elsewhere, new Arsenal manager Unai Emery lost his second game in a row as Chelsea secured a late 3-2 victory over them, while Tottenham Hotspur beat Fulham 3-1 at Wembley to secure maximum points from their first two matches.

It’s a team performance which gets the business done in the English top-flight as Pep Guardiola’s Man City prove, but who were the individual stars in each game?
