If you have a spare five minutes today, you may want to read this man’s “week in my life” feature on a PR Website.
The PR director Dean Gallagher saw a mixed response after his five-day diary was published.
The 29-year-old has been widely mocked online, with those reading it in utter disbelief it wasn’t a spoof.
His comments were widely criticised – in particular one sentence, which saw Dean write: “Last thought of the day: Syria.”
Other popular sections on social media included: “The team are still buzzing from yesterday’s results. Legends, one and all. Next”.
Will Orchard posted: “If Partridge were an agency director.”
And Martin Walsh added: “Are you sure this isn’t really Dean Partridge?”.
Dean starts his column by revealing how he welcomed back one colleague with a “hug and a drink”.
He later adds: “Last thought of the day: Why did I Deliveroo again? Gym soon. Oh, please, how many times have you said that to yourself Dean?”.
Dean moves through the week revealing all about his life, adding on Thursday: “Uber drivers can talk… Plush offices. This Business is insane. Impressive growth. Unique. Fast paced. There’s a lot to love.
“We’ll work well together. Interrogating a brief is always the fun bit. We talk about the best team to develop the proposal in the car.”
On Friday, meanwhile, he says: “Four hours on the pendolino would be hell for some. For me, it’s solitude.
“Time and space to keep pace, and to consider what’s beyond the here and now.
“Although, train Travel does have its frustrations. I try to dial into a client call. Cut off. Twice. Eye roll. Quick chat with our Chairman, and fire over what he needs.”
India Morris was one user to poke fun at the PR boss, saying: “Hi Dean, please could you let me know what you’re doing for the rest of this week?”
