The team behind Naked Optics, a ski goggles producer based in Salzburg, decided to run an advertising campaign with people wearing its goggles – and not much else.

The brand is currently running the campaign on its social media channels, and has had a hugely positive response.

Entitled “naked people”, the inspiration for the pictures came from the company’s name: Naked Optics.

The saucy shoot has been wildly popular, resulting in the brand tripling its turnover.

The pictures include both men and women in the mountains, wearing nothing but a smile and ski goggles.

Surrounded by snow, it must have been a pretty chilly shoot for those who agreed to bare all for the campaign.

Naked Optics also includes some words of wisdom next to these photos on Facebook.

One such bit of advice reads: “How to impress a woman: Compliment her, cuddle her, kiss her, caress her, love her, stroke her, comfort her, protect her, hug her, wine and dine her, buy gifts for her, listen to her, respect her, stand by her, support her, go to the ends of the earth for her.

“How to impress a man: Arrive NAKED… and with beer!” Sage words indeed.

While some of the pictures show models fully naked (but with private parts discreetly covered up), others leave a little more to the imagination.

One female model is photographed in a mountain lake, and she appears in another shot wearing just dungarees.

The company, founded by Christoph Fink, 28, has been selling several thousand pairs of ski goggles each year.

This year, however, its sales are up to three times that amount.

Turnover is up to €60,000 (£50,867 GBP), and Fink is confident that the brand will reach a six figure turnover in 2017.

Nudity isn’t always so welcome. A story recently went viral about a man who took his trousers off on board a flight, leading to him being branded the “worst passenger ever.”

The entire incident was tweeted by actor, writer and stand-up comic Kumail Nanjiani, who was naturally incensed by this unusual behaviour.
