Birmingham City’s new home kit has been officially confirmed.
The strip, made by adidas for the third season running, was revealed by Blues this evening after images had surfaced online throughout the day.
This year there is a white band, intersected by a blue stripe, across the top of the chest.
Once again 888sport are the front of shirt sponsors despite speculation earlier this year that the relationship would end.
A statement on the Blues Website said: “Designed by adidas, the V-neck shirt uses Climalite technology to sweep sweat away from your skin and manage moisture until the final whistle.
“The shorts are made with a lightweight recycled polyester to save environmental resources and decrease emissions.”
You can pre-order yours from today* – the shirt will be available to buy in-store on Friday 6 July.
Or visit the Blues Store on Cattell Road, open 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am – 4.30pm on Sunday.
The away kit will be released later in the summer.
Here’s what supporters had to say about the latest design.
Oli Marsh: Personally, I think it’s the best @adidasUK kit we’ve had so far .
Jack Collier: New kit isn’t too bad now I’ve looked at it! Be nice to see what the away kit will be!
Itsjaymusa: Lovely .
Beatusbluey: It’s Blue & White and it has the globe and ball on it, therefore there is nothing to not like about it .
Daniel Johnson: Really like that. Our nicest home kit in a few years imo. Also, and this may not mean anything these days, it’s good to see our two most valuable players in Jota and Che modelling it. Hopefully both will stay.
Kane Styles: I like it. Thoughts? Official announcement at 6.
Kian Lennon: Birmingham’s new kit for the 2018/19 season is the best we’ve had in years .
Chris Ward: Love the new Blues kit .
Alex Holbrook: It’s ok.. I didn’t like it when @WeAreBirmingham announced it.. but it’s better than I thought.
Tom Craven: Suppose our new kit is something different to last season .
BCFCJack: Looks so much better on the players. Best kit we’ve had with Adidas.
