Police have launched an investigation after a 20-year-old tourist died after plunging from an apartment block in Spain, according to reports.
Paramedics were called but sadly the man – believed to be Irish – was pronounced dead at the scene in Magaluf on Sunday morning the Daily Mirror reports .
Local reports claimed he was not staying at the Eden Roc apartment block where he was found. He is thought to have been staying at a nearby hotel.
A source said: “A neighbour alerted police around 11am, saying they could see a person lying on the ground.
“He fell from a height of around 20 metres.”
It is understood the man only arrived in Magaluf, a resort town on the island of Majorca, yesterday.
His body was found at around 11am this morning.
The circumstances of the tragic death are being investigated by police.
