Pogba and Ben Yedder both came on as substitutes for their respective sides but it was the Sevilla striker who had the greater impact with two goals.
In comparison, the Manchester United midfielder struggled to make his mark on the game, making a number of errors.
But less than a week on, the duo meet on more friendly terms as they arrived at France’s international base in Clairefontaine ahead of games against Colombia and Russia.
In an image posted by Ben Yedder on Twitter, Pogba is pictured smiling at Ben Yedder as the pair meet.
And Ben Yedder wrote in his tweet: “No hard feelings.”
Pogba will hope the change of scenery will help rebuild his confidence after a difficult month which has been dominated by criticism of his performances.
In his analysis of Pogba’s display, former United captain Roy Keane said the 25-year-old acted like a “schoolboy” in response to Sevilla’s first goal.
“Pogba, we’ve spoken about Pogba a number of time,” Keane said on ITV.
“He’s not the only problem.
”But if he can’t get in the starting XI, you’re in trouble.
“He comes on, you expect good players to affect the game, he came on last night and done nothing.
“We saw with the goal, his reaction to it was like a school boy. He doesn’t smell danger.
“The reason you’re in a team is if one of your mates makes a mistake, you cover for him.
