India 56 for 2 off 6 – Bangladesh set 166 for 8 (20 overs)
Rohit Sharma gets India off to a flyer with two fours and two sixes – the second of which is 93m over long-off – in the first two overs
Just what India need to get this chase off and running (not that there’s been much running needed).
Dhawan then crunches a six into the stands before falling to the bowling of Shakib, caught at mid-off. Still a decent start for India – but not now.
Suresh Raina has feathered a pull shot behind to the keeper and after a review, from Bangladesh, he’s given out.
But there’s no stopping Rohit Sharma who keeps on attacking. He moves to 40 off 22 balls as India end the powerplay 56 for two.
Bangladesh innings as it happened – Bangladesh 166 for 8 (20 overs)
India won the toss and will bowled in Colombo but Bangladesh got off to a decent start.
They raced to 26-0 off three overs before off-spinner Washington Sundar struck to remove Liton Das for 11.
Chahal then picked up two wickets in the fourth over – removing Tamim Iqbal and Sarkar – to leave Bangladesh reeling.
It was soon three when the excellent Chahal removed Mushriqur Rahim to wind up with figures of 3-18 off his four overs to leave India firmly in the box seat.
Mahmuddullah and Sabbir Rahman initially dug in before picking up the pace in the middle overs.
But then disaster struck. A comedy run out sees the back of Mahmuddullah for 24. Shankar hits the pads, appeals but the umpire says no
In the meantime Rahman has charged up the other end, Mahmuddullah sets off late and he has no chance of getting back. That’s a stinker from Rahman, never a run there.
He’s still going well, mind you, clumping off back-to-back sixes in the 17th over before Shakib is run out. Good recovery this, though, with Rahman unbeaten on 75 with two overs left.
Rahman’s knock finally over as he is bowled by Unadkat for 77 then Rubel Hossain follows for a duck. Grinding to a halt this innings, 148 for 8 with an over left.
But wait. Mehedi Hasan has finished with a flourish – 4 6 0 2 4 2 – to finsih 19 not out off 7 balls.

What has happened in the series so far?
Everything – and even an on-pitch bust-up!
Sri Lanka, the tournament hosts, started with a shock win over India, who then got back to winning ways against Bangladesh.
Then, to complete a true topsy-turvy round of games, Bangaldesh then chased 215 to stun Sri Lanka.
India then won their next two games to leave the winner of Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh taking a place in the final.
Simple, right? Well, no. Tensions soared in Colombo and the spirit of cricket was nowhere to be seen.
With four balls left and Bangladesh needing 12 off four balls, Shakib Al Hasan called his players off the field in protest at a controversial call.
He was incensed that Sri Lanka, in his view, were allowed to bowl two bouncers above shoulder height in the final over and claimed the square leg umpire signalled one as a no ball.
In the end play went on and, against all odds, Bangladesh pulled off the impossible.
Mahmudullah struck a four, then rushed back for two on the next ball before smashing the next one high in the stands for six.
