The Disney Magic cruise ship drew big crowds when it sailed into North Shields last year.
The huge cruise liner is dedicated to all things Disney, and even has a Wish Upon A Star foghorn.
Unsurprisingly, Disney Cruises are a dream holiday for children – and any Micky Mouse mad parents. But the ships need dedicated and enthusiastic staff to make sure those young passengers’ dreams do come true. Could you work on board?
The company is advertising for ‘Youth Activities Counsellors’ to work on board the Disney Cruise lines, which sail routes around the world.
You’d need to move to America, where the Disney is based, but it’s a chance to sail around the world and get paid. Beware though, you could be working A LOT, up to 84 hours a week over seven days.
Youth Activities Counsellors are responsible for helping entertain the ship’s young passengers. You’ll need at least two years experience working in a kids’ camp, be aged over 20 years old, and able to organise large groups of children.
