A community group, set up to promote a Snowdonia village, have released two videos showing the beauty of the area.
Hwb Eryri (Snowdon Hub) organise community events like the Snowdon Race in Llanberis and are keen to extend the appeal of the village to a wider audience.
Spokesman Stephen Edwards said thousands of people visit the village every year and many climb to the summit of Snowdon by train or on foot.
“But there are other aspects to the village. The Llanberis Lake Railway, the National Slate Museum and Llyn Padarn to name just three which are just as important and just as interesting for people who visit the area.
“Working in partnership over the last few weeks with Dewi Fôn Evans (DFE Videography), we at HWB Eryri have produced two short films.
“The aim of these films is to sell Llanberis, as an amazing place to visit, with fantastic scenery, village life, Businesses, attractions, outdoor activities and more.”
The videos have been made and feature stunning shots taken from a drone showing new and unusual views of Dolbadarn Castle, the Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Dinorwic Quarry.
A second video shows views of the village including its shops, cafes and hotels.
Mr Edwards said Hwb Eryri will develop a base in Electric Mountain and develop close work relationships with its partners First Hydro, Gwynedd Council, the Community Councils of the regions and the Snowdonia National Park.
