Manchester Untied want Gianluigi Donnarumma to replace David De Gea as their number one

Manchester United will give David De Gea permission to join Real Madrid next summer, IF they can sign AC Milan’s 18-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as his replacement.
Spain number one De Gea has been strongly linked with a return to his homeland over the past few years, but the Red Devils have so far resisted Real’s interest.
The 26-year-old’s contract at Old Trafford runs until 2019 and, unlike other stars in the Premier League, will not force a move away from United.
However, according to reports in The Sun, he will be allowed the join the Spanish giants if United can secure a deal for his replacement, with Man United keen on making teenage sensation Donnarumma their next long-term number one.
The 18-year-old signed a contract extension at Milan earlier this year, despite initially insisting he would not be extending his stay at the Italian club.
However, should the Rossoneri fail to make the Champions League, he is expected to leave the San Siro in the summer, with United likely to swoop – which will then pave the way for De Gea’s return to Madrid.
Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, enjoys a good relationship with Red Devils, who currently have three of his clients in Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku, while another of the top names on his books, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is expected to re-sign for them.
