Domino’s opened its first store in Luton in 1985, introducing customers to household favourites like Pepperoni Passion, Mighty Meaty and Vegi Supreme.
Since that fateful day 32 years ago the brand has built up a reputation as one of the biggest and most popular pizza takeaways in the UK.
The pizza shop opened its 1,000th store in Overton, Hampshire, last week. It was marked with the unveiling of a special gold plaque by Chief Executive Officer David Wild.
Over 35,000 people are now part of the Domino’s team, who freshly hand-make over 89 million pizzas a year and serve over 7.5 million Pepperoni Passions annually.
And you could earn £20 on your next order of Pepperoni Passion with discount voucher company QuidCo.
To get the cash, pizza lovers need to join Quidco here today, for free.
The company then direct you straight to the Domino’s site where you can order as much pizza as you’d like (this offer even works in conjunction with Two for Tuesdays!).
You’ll see a percentage of your order value track into your new Quidco account. This is the cashback from the retailer.
You’ll then also receive your welcome bonus of £20. This will be added to your Quidco account within three weeks of purchase.
The offer is running from 11 – 20 August
Amazon Echo owners can now place a Domino’s pizza order using only a voice command.
Amazon Echo can already do a lot of cool things – it can play songs, keep you up-to-date with the latest headlines, read out the weather forecast, juggle multiple timers, and answer your general knowledge queries.
And now the smart speaker can summon a take-away pizza from Domino’s while you wallow on the sofa catching up on the new season of Game Of Thrones.
The useful new functionality was roll-out by Domino’s Pizza last last month.
The new Skill supports Domino’s GPS delivery tracking in trial locations, which means that Alexa can tell those who cannot wait to know how far away their freshly made delivery is exactly where it is, right down to the minute.
