A one-way journey with EasyBus is the best way to keep costs down, with fares of just £1.95 each way.
Airports in London that are available by EasyBus include Gatwick, Stansted and Luton as well as Manchester Airport.
Travellers can book just a few days in advance to get the cheap price, with them increasing to prices from £7-£15.
And with buses that stop at all the main train stations, it means those coming into London can save some pennies.
A downside is the time it can take, as it is significantly slower than a train with sometimes being over an hour longer.
However, the price difference is enough to make it a much more appealing option when compared to alternative routes
For example, the Gatwick Express starts at £26.50 for a single fare.
When compared to the cheapest EasyBus option, it’s a huge saving of over 90 per cent when planning a return trip to the airport with the bus service.
For those choosing to travel by car, they could also face another high cost before they even make it to the airport.
They could soon be charged an additional £15 to drive around the airport to tackle the air pollution problem around the airport.
Heathrow Airport is the biggest to be affected.
It isn’t great news for travellers trying to keep their holiday costs low.
