In a post labelled the ‘hoax of the day’ on the club’s website, Bayern revealed they were not looking to sign the Real Madrid forward.
Ronaldo is said to want to quit Real and leave Spain over what he feels is unfair treatment by Spanish tax authorities.
As well as Bayern, the 32-year-old has been linked with former club Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and a move to the United States or China.
But should the Portugal international leave Madrid this summer, Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists his destination will not be the Bundesliga champions.
“We are accustomed to speculating intensively on possible ins and outs during the transfer period,” Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
“As a rule, we do not comment on these rumours.
“But, in the case of Ronaldo, we want to clarify once and for all that this rumour has no basis and must be referred to the realm of the fable.”
Express Sport understands Chelsea will look to offer Ronaldo a route back to the Premier League.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants to soothe over tensions with manager Antonio Conte by signing Ronaldo.
The Blues have failed to sign a number of Conte’s targets over the past two transfer windows and Ronaldo would provide the perfect solution to their striker problems, with Conte determined to sell Diego Costa.
It is understood Russian billionaire Abramovich could even use Eden Hazard as a makeweight in a deal to sign Portugal star Ronaldo.
Ronaldo has also been linked with a return to Old Trafford, which the Portuguese is said to be open to.
He spent six years at the Red Devils before joining Real in 2009, winning three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two League Cups and the Champions League during that time.
