Valencia wonderkid Rafa Mir
Tottenham are lining up a move for Valencia wonderkid Rafa Mir, according to reports in Spain.
The 19-year-old has been tipped for a bright future after breaking into the first team at the La Liga club this season.
Now they are bracing themselves for summer interest with a number of clubs aware of his immense potential.
And, Spanish media reports suggests it is Spurs who are leading the way to sign Mir, a powerful winger capable of playing down either flank.
The north London club are said to have been tracking him for some time – but must make their move quickly to take advantage of his £7m release clause.
If he makes another two first-team appearanes this season it has been reported that the fee will rise to £25m, although they may be willing to do business for less than that.
Either way, should Spurs secure a permanent move for Mir, he is expected to be sent out on loan to continue playing first-team football for now.
